What things will stand you in good stead?

Off the top of my head...
- Fitness (discipline, endurance, making progress)
- Business (creating something from scratch, realizing that you need to give people what they want in the real world and that people primarily care about themselves)
- Sales (confidence, persuasion, thinking about what others want)
- Talking to females (confidence, enduring rejection)
- Learning not to care so much what people think of you
- Learning to defend yourself
- Being a good judge of character, reading people
- Developing a philosophical outlook and values
- Realizing that opinions are like assholes and that a lot of people are wrong, including successful people
- Learning a skill or a trade
- Learning how to socialize
- Being content with your own company, enjoying solitude
- Travel
- Being able to admit when you're wrong (doesn't apply to me)
